From Ukraine to South Korea: Expanding Our Manufacturing Horizons

For over four decades, DTS Equipment has been known as a reliable supplier of cast iron lining rings and heavy industrial castings. Until 2022, our core production base was located in Ukraine, where we developed and delivered world-class engineering solutions for mining, tunnelling, and metallurgical industries.

The outbreak of war forced us to relocate our manufacturing operations. While our Ukrainian head office and engineering team continue to operate as before, we have successfully transferred all casting and machining activities to South Korea — ensuring full continuity of supply and quality.

A New Chapter in South Korea

Today, our South Korean facilities represent a major step forward in both capability and resilience. With over 30,000 tons of annual production output, certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, KS A 9001 and CE PED, our network of foundries and machining shops covers every stage of production — from design and pattern making to casting, machining, testing, and final assembly.

This move allows DTS to remain fully independent of unstable markets, while maintaining strict control over quality and delivery times. Our Korean facilities produce large-scale SGI tunnel and shaft linings, wind turbine components, marine castings, pressure vessel parts, and other heavy-duty industrial castings — all under one coordinated system of quality assurance.

With design and project management continuing from our UK and Ukrainian offices, and all manufacturing now established in South Korea, DTS combines European engineering standards with Korean production efficiency.

This synergy enables us to deliver complex, watertight, and high-precision castings worldwide — for projects in the UK, Europe, North America, and Asia.
